Marc DelSignore

Marc DelSignore is the founder and President of Perception Insight, a survey research firm which conducts opinion polling for strategic communications. With two decades of experience working in professional politics, Marc specializes in research and consulting focused on measuring and influencing public opinion in order to win elections and public relations campaigns.
Marc designs and oversees research projects utilizing telephone surveys, focus groups, and Internet-based surveys to measure public opinion for his clients. Marc has worked closely with political candidates at the federal, state, and local levels; public relations and advertising firms; trade associations; corporations; and universities and school districts in developing opinion research projects which have been an integral part of successful communications and marketing campaigns.

Before starting Perception Insight in May 2009, Marc was the Vice President of Baselice & Associates, a survey research firm where he directed more than 500 projects during his ten years at the firm. Prior to joining Baselice & Associates, Marc worked for a number of Washington D.C.-based media firms specializing in political and issue advocacy advertising. With his prior background in advertising where he was a consumer of survey research, Marc understands the important role survey research plays in developing and implementing successful communications strategies for his clients.
Some of political clients for whom Marc has worked with include Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott; Kentucky Secretary of State Tray Grayson; Texas House Speaker Joe Straus; Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Victor Carrillo; Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice Wallace Jefferson and Texas Supreme Court Justice Phil Johnson; and Texas State Senator Steve Ogden. Marc has overseen survey projects for numerous members of Congress and the Texas Legislature, as well as conducting research on behalf of the National Republican Congressional Committee and the Republican Party of Texas.
Aside from political campaigns, Marc has conducted survey research for corporations such as AT&T, Wal-Mart, and IKEA, and Marc works with numerous trade associations where he specializes in public policy issues related to health care, transportation, and tort reform. Marc also works with many public relations and advertising firms where opinion research is utilized to help shape the development of various communication strategies.
Marc has been quoted in newspapers ranging from the Wall Street Journal to the San Antonio Express News, and he appears frequently on Austin and San Antonio television news broadcasts for his insights on politics and public opinion. Marc frequently lectures about survey research at campaign schools and universities, including the New Politics Forum at the University of Texas and St. Edwards University.
Marc graduated from the George Washington University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Marc also attended the Graduate School of Political Management at the George Washington University from August of 1995 to December of 1996.
